Car­ing for AIDS orphans. Rebuild­ing homes after dis­as­ters. Fight­ing child traf­fick­ing. Pro­vid­ing busi­ness loans to poor women. Teach­ing men sus­tain­able agri­cul­ture. Pre­vent­ing HIV/AIDS. Plant­ing trees. Dig­ging water wells.

At World Con­cern, these are the things we do for peo­ple in need all over the world. But it’s not all.

Our goal is to relieve human suf­fer­ing and to bring hope and rec­on­cil­i­a­tion to the peo­ple we serve. Our inspi­ra­tion and moti­va­tion comes from Jesus, who taught us to care for the poor, the for­got­ten, the despised and the marginalized.

We pro­vide oppor­tu­ni­ties to the poor, focus­ing on basic needs, sus­tain­able liveli­hoods and fam­ily sta­bil­ity. We serve through a world­wide staff of pro­fes­sion­als who are com­mit­ted to forg­ing part­ner­ships with the peo­ple and com­mu­ni­ties we serve.
